A brilliant community event in which our KS2 pupils had made lanterns and light wands to parade around the village. EYFS and KS1 pupils joined in the fun also as they were able to use spare lanterns and wands.
What a truly brilliant event Light Up Honley was in every way. We were lucky enough to have a dry evening and the parade was very well attended and supported. The lanterns made in school were magnificent and the children who attended the parade beamed with pride as they followed the samba band around the parade route. Thank you to Mr Stephenson and Mr Holmes for photographing the event.
